What am I allowed to put into my skip bin?

General Household Waste Skip Bins- suitable for light household waste.

eg. Clothes, toys, books, papers, furniture, appliances, kitchenware, tools, garden waste, shop or office waste.

STRICTLY NO BRICK, CONCRETE, TILES OR SOILS.

Mattresses and tyres incur extra charges please advise on booking.

 

Mixed Building Waste Skip Bins - suitable for demolition, construction and renovation waste.

eg. Bricks, tiles, concrete, soil, gyprock, timber, fixtures & fittings, general construction & building waste

also general household waste and garden waste.

 

 

What am I NOT allowed to put into my skip bin?

Strictly Prohibited Waste - Asbestos, fibro, wet paint, oil, fuel, solvents, chemicals, flammable/toxic materials, gas cylinders/bottles and food waste.

 

How do I book a skip bin?

You can call 0423 409 328 and one of our friendly staff with be able to assist you with a booking. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm and Weekends 8.00am to 1.30pm. Alternatively, you can send an enquiry via our Contact Us page and we will contact you within 48 hours to finalise your booking.

 

How much notice is required to book a skip bin?

We recommend that you book at least 24 hours in advance. Depending on how busy we are and availability, we may be able to accommodate a same day delivery.

 

How long can I have the skip bin?

We offer bins for a hire period of 7 days. However you can hire for a longer period, ask when making your booking.

 

How do I pay?

Payment is to be made prior to or at the time of delivery. We accept the following methods of payment:

  • Cash to the driver on delivery

  • Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa only) over the phone at the time of booking (please be aware that your card will be processed on the day of delivery)

  • Prepayment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Are there any additional charges?

We incur extra costs for the disposal of tyres and mattresses, which are passed on to our customers. These additional charges are as follows:

  • Mattresses - $100 each

  • Car Tyres - $50 each

  • Truck Tyres - $100 each

 

How high can i fill the skip bin?

The bin must NOT BE FILLED ABOVE THE RIM. Due to occupational health and safety, waste cannot exceed the height of the bin. If your bin is overloaded, we will not pick it up and you will be required to offload it before it can be removed from site. Please note an overloading fee of up to $100 will apply.
